Terms of Service

Effective 11 October 2026

SpecSense is a planning and review service operated by Mohab Salah in Egypt. Contact us at mohab@specsensehq.com.

Access and scope

SpecSense helps teams import project schedules and related files, explore planning scenarios, review results, and export work. Current pilot access is by invitation and approval. Sending a request does not create an account or guarantee admission. The public site does not start a subscription or take payment. An approved organisation administrator manages its users and is responsible for their use of the service.

These terms apply when you use an approved SpecSense account. The current invited pilot is free; a separately agreed pilot arrangement may set its scope, duration, and support. If a paid plan later becomes available, its price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase.

Your account and responsibilities

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Use the service only for lawful, authorised work. Do not upload content you lack the right to use, interfere with the service or another customer, or probe or bypass access controls. Organisation administrators should remove access when a person no longer needs it.

Your content and our product

You and your organisation keep ownership of the schedules, documents, data, and other material you provide ("Customer Content"). You give SpecSense a limited permission to store, process, display, transmit, back up, and return Customer Content to operate and support the service, follow your instructions, and meet legal obligations. You remain responsible for the accuracy, rights, and lawful use of Customer Content.

SpecSense and its licensors retain their respective rights in the software, original product materials, and confidential know-how protected under applicable law. Those rights do not extend to your Customer Content or general planning ideas. Your approved access grants only the rights stated in these terms; it does not transfer ownership of the product. Unauthorized copying, distribution, disclosure, or misuse of protected product materials may result in suspension and legal action, where permitted by applicable law. You retain ownership of your Customer Content and permitted exports. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law makes mandatory, including permitted reverse engineering, or rights under an applicable third-party licence.

AI-assisted features

When an authorised user invokes an AI feature, selected request content and relevant project context may be sent to Anthropic to produce a response. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Review results, calculations, recommendations, and exports before relying on them, especially for commercial, safety, contractual, or engineering decisions. You decide whether to use the output and remain responsible for decisions made from it. Do not send information to an AI feature unless you are authorised to share it with that provider. See our Privacy Notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, faults, and third-party outages may interrupt it. No uptime or response-time guarantee applies unless a separate written agreement expressly provides one. We may change features for security, reliability, legal, or product reasons and will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical. Contact us for support.

Fees and future checkout

The current website invites pilot applications only; it does not sell a subscription. If paid checkout is later activated, the checkout will show the applicable plan, price, billing cycle, taxes, and renewal terms before you pay. Paddle may act as merchant of record for those purchases. If so, you purchase from Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms, and Paddle handles payment and approved refunds. Our Refund Policy describes the refund offer that will apply to future eligible paid charges.

Suspension, ending access, and data

We may suspend access to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a material breach, and will give notice when reasonably possible. You may ask to end a pilot or close your organisation by emailing us; an authorised administrator may use available export and deletion functions. Ending access does not necessarily erase every record immediately. Limited security, audit, billing, backup, and permanent deletion-control records may remain as described in the Privacy Notice. Our supported recovery process checks separate deletion records to prevent an old backup from reactivating a deleted organisation.

Responsibility and rights

Use the service as a planning aid, with professional review appropriate to your project. To the extent applicable law permits, neither side is responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and concerns

We will update the effective date and give reasonable notice before material changes apply to existing customers. Contact mohab@specsensehq.com if you have a question or concern. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain in effect.
